Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the previous lead singer of the metalcore group The Agonist, and the currently the lead singer of Swedish music group, melodic Death Metal Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 in 1985) is an Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous as the lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore band the Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) make up her style of singing. She is mainly associated with Metalcore and melodic deaths, but has also performed together with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz used to be a part of the band Agonist which was formerly called "Tempest" from Montreal (Quebec), Canada in 2004 until 2014. She released three albums while with The Agonist as the lead vocalist.White-Gluz quit the Agonist at the beginning of 2014 when she was offered an opportunity to sing for Arch Enemy.
