Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. She entered the music industry in the early years, competing in local contests before the age of 10 and recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. In 1989, she released her first solo album her debut solo album was released with them.
